question
why do we resist God? better yet, why as believers do we resist? why do we "return to our vomit"? (As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly. -proverbs 26:11). i hate this law that works inside me...(So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. - romans 7:21)

Good question. Why do we?
Perhaps we have a knack for thinking we can do everything ourselves?
We lay it down at the cross---then turn around and pick it back up again.
God wants to help us if only we will let him.
yeah, i talked about it with a friend and it's sin, plain and simple. so my next question was "why does sin exist?" "why was it allowed?" he gave me a pretty good answer. maybe i'll get into that some other time.
These questions would make really good bible study.
Did you ever start that bible study with your pastor by chance?
i will be starting my bible study with my pastor after our church is done with the Rendevouz study. i'm gonna blog about that event going on at our church.
